Feel the choice
Every environment has different needs, based on its function and enhancement of the aesthetic value. For this reason, Uniflair proposes various combinations of materials and technical construction with the aim of always supplying a product perfect for any situation.

Support core
There are two options for the panel core material: high density wooden chipboard or calcium sulphate.
• High density wooden chipboard (720 kg/m3) allows the best combination of mechanical properties and contained
weights for an economic purchase with ease of working.
• The inert calcium sulphate based material (density 1,500 kg/m3) possesses excellent mechanical properties and fire resistance, greatly reduced sensitivity to humidity and notable acoustic absorption for improved treading comfort.
The back of the core panel is covered to further improve mechanical characteristics and increase thermalhygrometric
stability. The materials used are high density laminated plastic (0.9 mm thick), aluminium (0.05 mm thick) or galvanized steel (0.5 mm thick), depending on the protection grade and resistance required.

Finish
Today, flooring is not only a functional element but also an integral and fundamental part of the design of a building.
Uniflair allows customisation of the finishing of the panels according to the most diverse requirements, satisfying the choices of the client from an extensive range of finishes available today, so rendering every access floor unique.
The vast choice includes: hard plastic laminates, vinyls, linoleum and rubber, carpets and parquets, natural stone, reconstituted stone, glazed grès, resin, steel and glass.

LINE Edge
The edge of the Uniflair panel is produced in a rigid plastic material, self-extinguishing and PVC free. Of thickness 0.45 mm in the standard version, it is applied to the full height on all four sides of the panel, so protecting the panel both from the external environment and any possible damage occurring during the laying phase and maintenance of the access floor. In addition, it has the functions of being non-creaking and sound proofing, avoiding direct contact between components of the panels themselves. The reduced thickness and the possibility of personalising the colour, offer a practical response to the
aesthetic requirements of the designers and the ever increasing demands for continuous flooring.

UNI Edge
In the case of finishing in grès, the panel can also be produced with a different process of edging, unique and patented, the UNI edge. Produced in soft polyurethane elastomer with elevated chemical stability and resistance to scratching, guaranteeing a more effective protection to bumps, a better air-tightness and providing a humidity barrier. In addition, the use of coverings of nominal format 30x30 cm and 30x60 cm with internal gaps between the ceramics equal to those of the panel perimeter, create an effect of camouflaging the 60x60 cm module in the finished floor. Also, the UNI edge may be customised in colour, with the intention of sustaining the most pursued attention to detail of every single architectural element.

UNI8 Evolution pedestal
Completely in galvanized steel, compact and easy to handle, the four shaped branches make it possible to fasten the stringers in a multiple of configurations even without screws. Characterised by an extensive range of available heights, from a height of only 5.5 cm up to a metre and above. In addition, the tubing has been specially studied to facilitate installation, and can be cut to the necessary measurement without losing any of its mechanical or structural features.
Special versions are also present, with under head height regulation for easy installation or with increased tubing for more superior weight loads.
Exclusive patent of Uniflair, the head of the UNI8 Evolution support has a thickness equal to 3 mm. The formation, with 8 suitably shaped radial branches allows rapid fitting and excellent connection of the stringers. In addition, it is possible to fix the stringers with screws, increasing stability and ensuring electrical continuity of the structure.
The base made from a galvanized steel disc with a 90 mm diameter and thickness of 1.5 mm has stiffening ribs and shaped niches for an improved adhesion of the glue to the base and to the slab. The additional holes present permit, if required, an easy mechanical fixture.
The system of height regulation, completely in galvanized steel, is achieved by using a galvanized M16 threaded crossbar and a galvanized nut provided with six selflocking notches. |
|
UNI8 Evolution support with under head height regulation
The UNI8 Evolution support is also supplied with height regulation underneath the head rather than at the base, for heights starting from 190 mm up to 1,000 mm and above. In this version the particular tube, which can assume a variable length
depending on the functional height of the floor, is coupled with a base disc. In addition, it is adapted with a suitable support collar, guaranteeing a major stability of the structure and flexural resistance. Secondly, the presence of the regulation nut underneath the head of the structure allows an easier height regulation. The presence of the identical standard version head also allows perfect compatibility with all types of available stringers. |
|
UNI8 Evolution Support PSA Medium Grade
This support, only supplied in the version with under head regulation, is available in a range of heights from a minimum of 60 mm to a maximum of 450 mm. Similarly, as with the version with under head height regulation, there are some substantial differences present to allow notable superior load performance: regarding both the base of square format measuring 100x100 mm and with reinforced thickness equal to 2.5 mm, and the caulked tube and relative M20 threaded crossbar, of greater diameter with respect to the standard version. Also for this variant, the same type of previously indicated stringers remain compatible, with the threaded crossbar being coupled with the UNI8 Evolution standard head. |

Stringers
Also in galvanized steel, the stringers have been designed with a particular section to improve mechanical resistance and ensure reduced tolerance of the modules which can be easily interchanged. Made from cold pressed or extruded galvanized steel, they are produced in the version Light (L) or Medium (M) (open section) and Heavy (P) and Extra Heavy (H) (closed section). The ends have a special snap-on assembly system which enables practical and optimal positioning on the branches of the head and holes for blocking with screws, ensuring electrical continuity of the system and providing major structural stability.
The gaskets, in black extruded semi-rigid plastic, formed in a U section, permit an optimum structure-panel connection, improving acoustic performance and acting as a seal against humidity for the whole system.

|
Head gasket
Made from semi rigid moulded plastic, black, conductive, and shaped to perfectly fit to the head of the support and ensure perfect positioning and centering of the panels. The number of branches (4 or 8) depends on the chosen configuration. The specific shape and variable thickness allow complete adaptation to the head of the base, so as to ensure greater treading comfort. The gasket also has a sound proofing function.

|
Gasket for stringers
Made from extruded plastic, black, 1 mm thick, they have a sound proofing and air seal function. The gasket is applied to the stringer by simply pressing it on.
