Modular Access Floors

The principle aim of architects and interior designers is to create efficient and functional buildings.
The extent to which this objective is achieved will determine the operating cost and life-expectancy of the building.
Modular access flooring is now an essential building component, allowing space to be used in a way that is functional, rational and flexible.
Only by using highly automated production systems can the precision necessary for perfect modularity be guaranteed. Uniflair has an advanced technology production plant with the capacity to manufacture a variety of floor configurations, including several patented designs.

The various production lines have an annual capacity per shift of around 500.000 mq.
Control systems continuously monitor and check every aspect of the production process.
Uniflair modular access floor is not only fundamental to the flexibility of the space but can also be used to greatly enhance the architectural and aesthetic qualities of the building. Uniflair modular access flooring is unrivalled in the level of creative freedom it gives in the choice of finishing materials, colours and forms.

The uniflair access floor is an extraordinarily versatile and flexible instrument giving designers unprecedented creative freedom. Equipment and cabling is easily housed in the plenum underneath the access floor during planning or installation, with the added bonus that any later changes can be made without increased costs. Designers can also give their creativity free rein through the choice of finishing materials, available in a remarkably wide range and offering practically unlimited options for a customised look.
Uniflair access floor finds its most suitable application in those buildings that house activities that are served by complex electric, electronic, hydraulic and air conditioning subsystems. In such surroundings, access floors not only enable an unbeatably functional and efficient layout, but can also be adapted in no time to fit in with changes dictated by the unrelenting technological evolution of systems used or continually transforming work organisation requirements.

Finishes
An extremely wide choice of materials allows to customize Uniflair access floors to the most demanding needs:
- from carpeting to fine wood,
- linoleum to Florentine cotto,
- ceramic to marble,
- and recomposed stone, each area of a building can have its architectural style.

Thr Otto structure

Uniflair floor components have been designed with meticulous attention to safety characteristics.
The Otto structure, an exclusive Uniflair product features an eight head branch and a series of interchangeable crosspieces with different resistance properties.
Thanks to the configuration of the head gasket and the size of the four branches, this steel structure can meet highly demanding loading requirements. The size of the stringers enable the structure to be effortlessly interfaced with the Otto system.

The Uniframe structure

Some buildings accommodate a great deal of high-tech devices, machinery with sophisticated functions, which control increasingly vital aspects of our economy and every day life
Data processing centres, operating theatres, telephone exchanges, and call centres are just some of the places Uniflair floors with antistatic or conductive finishing offer undeniable functional advantages.
The availability of different understructures and panels with varying technological properties, and the infinite variety of finishing material options mean most requirements can be met.
In addition to use in new buildings, Uniflair access floors prove a valuable tool for refurbishment, especially when the buildings in question are of significant historic and artistic value. With Uniflair floors, you can actually adapt the building to the most advanced, innovative demands without altering the original architecture, which is given due respect and even enhanced.

Uniflair access floors can offer significant cost advantages.
A Uniflair access floor is much quicker to lay than traditional flooring. Uniflair floors are installed as a dry system without the need for a costly and time consuming levelling screed.
The resulting void beneath the Uniflair access floor can be used to house services such as water, power, telephone and data allowing considerable flexibility in the programming of the works. Furthermore, any part of the void can be easily accessed to relocate and modify services. Changes to the use of the space above and below the Uniflair floor can be undertaken at minimal cost.

Uniflair access floors have been conceived in order to render installation work particularly quick and easy.
The extensive range of accessories available, helps simplify installation work even further, making Uniflair floors the most rational, functional and flexible choice.
